On Fridays there's a gay themed happy hour at the bar by the lobby, which attracts LGBTQ locals and tourists staying in other hotels. There is also a sauna and steam room on site which turns mens-only after 6PM on Saturdays and Sundays I believe. Alternatively I have heard great things from guys who have stayed in the Pietermaai area of the city.
