Glisen

Glisen 1 Tablet is a sulfonylurea medicine for type 2 diabetes mellitus. It lowers blood sugar by increasing insulin release and may cause low blood sugar levels as a side effect.

Glisen is used for an adjunct to diet to lower the blood glucose in patients with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (type 2 diabetes) whose hyperglycemia cannot be controlled by diet, physical exercise and weight reduction.

Glisen Mf 2 Tablet Er stimulates insulin release from the pancreatic beta cells; reduces glucose output from the liver; insulin sensitivity is increased at peripheral target sites.

Glisen MF 2 Tablet PR is a combination medicine that increases the amount of insulin your body produces (in the pancreas). The insulin then works to lower your blood glucose level.
